And here we are! Photos of my mostly put together shop at 6410 Latona Ave NE!
Functional! Working towards elegence. MINE!!!
My floor cloth! Big thanks to Aunt Sandra for giving me the idea. It's my first one!
Also, the "comfy" chair, where the bellies and feet will be hennaed, is on loan. Still looking for another just like it!
The "Hand Station" That little table needs a lamp and something cute on it. And a little sign saying "hand station." :) The back of the cabinets still needs to be covered (wallpaper, probably)
The art is "temporary". I really want to make a big piece for the orange wall, flanked by two smaller "rotating" ones. Also, the butts of those chairs are getting PAINTED! :)
There you have it! A month and a half of hard work, but it's now just little tweeks here and there (like the curtain rods and curtains, the lamp for the table, a sign for the window, and so on.)
Photos and such, after my big 365 Project (Antoinette's Project 31). In other words...a blog.

Wow, this is turning into a nightmare crazy week/weekend. I have a bunch of pictures of the shop and how it's turning out, including the floor cloth I've been working on. Tomorrow I'm doing a 10 hour photo shoot, so I'll have a lot of photos from that, but in the meantime, I'm just run ragged and need to rest! I went and visited my mother because Zara and her boyfriend were in town, but as soon as I got there I found out the hair/makeup artists for tomorrow's project got in a car accident so I spent 7 hours calling anyone and everyone I could, but finally booked the second girl at 9pm, so hopefully we're golden. I should have a shot of whiskey or something to knock me out so I can actually sleep, I'm so high-strung and excited. Whew.

More of the shop
The handles are on my door, including my "door bell" !
Here's my dad changing the deadbolt on Krys's side. He was very helpful!
The mess of painting is done. Just a little bit of touchup left on the trim where dribbles happened, but the walls are finished!
You can just see on the ceiling here the new lighting my dad installed yesterday. SO much nicer then the last set. I have to paint the ceiling around the new fixture, but that can be a project after I move in.
