Merry Christmas

We went down to the farm and had a lovely holiday with my parents. Mark and Andrew came down on Christmas Day, and we had a lot of fun!

(I threw out my back, and am going to go lie down, but I'll post more photos in the next few days. I have some great shots of the house now that it's put together!)

This is what it looks like when you move an entire set of dressers from one side of the room to the other. On the plus side, you get a new bed for your laser cat.

I had so much fun today practicing my nib-tip calligraphy. I love how many modalities there are. Art art art art art!

Almost the whole table got up to sing Bohemian Rhapsody (and we actually did a reasonably good job!) The Karaoke DJ took pictures of us, and all the waitstaff applauded.

So, apparently I know how to throw a party that, even when it doesn't go right, is loads of fun. Laurie, Erin, Jill, Crystal, Stuart, Heather, Prash, Charlie, Dan & I went up to Aventura Mexican Restaurant for Karaoke. We mostly all got there at 9ish, the Karaoke was broken, didn't get started until after 10:30, we sang songs a capella, listened to the painful bad jokes of "Johnny Santa" and had a great time! Then, with some help from our computer-crew we got the karaoke up and running and had an even greater time!
